The Indian Network Operator Company Aircel shut down its services. I know what you are thinking right now that what to do with SIM. No need to throw that SIM 😁 you can obviously port it to the other Network operator company like Jio, Airtel, BSNL, Vodafone, Idea etc.


Don't have network in Aircel SIM how can I get the UPC😳

Now you must be thinking😦 that network of Aircel SIM is not working then how you can get the UPC(unique port code).
So here are the two methods which you can try.

  • Online UPC Generation
  • Calling Method

Requirement-

  1. Last five digit of ICCID/SIM number
  2. Mobile Number

Last five digit of ICCID/SIM number- 

If you don't have ICCID number you can Download SIM Info App (Android Users). If you are an iPhone user then you cant get the ICCID number just by going to Setting >> General >> About >>ICCID.

Mobile number- 

The Mobile number which was given by the company and used to call and messages.


Online UPC Generation

  1. First of all visit to the webpage link -https://ekyc.aircel.com:444/ekyc/genUPC.html
  2. You may see Service temporarily available error(as shown in the picture below) just because of so many peoples are requesting to the Aircel's server. Reload the page again and again you must get the UPC Generation page after refreshing 3-4 times(Reload the page again and again until you get it).
  3. After getting the UPC generation page(Picture below) Enter the mobile number and the Last five digits of the ICCID/SIM number.
  4. Now Click on Generate UPC.(If it shows any error click again the generate UPC button repeat until you get the UPC)
  5. After few clicks you will get the UPC(Unique Port Code).

Generating Aircel UPC by Call Method

  1. Just make a call from any mobile number(Airtel,Voda,Idea,Jio Etc) you are using on the given below number according to your State-
    (So many people are calling on these numbers that's it may not be possible that your call will be connected at once so try again and again. Note- Sometimes it says that the number is wrong so don't worry and call again and again and your call will be connected)

  2. Select the language you want to proceed.
  3. Press 1 for the Unique port code/UPC
  4. Now it will ask you to enter your 10 digit mobile number. Enter the 10 digit mobile number.
  5. Now it will ask you to enter last 5 digit of your ICCID/SIM number. Enter the last 5 digit of ICCID/SIM number.(Mobile number and SIM/ICCID number are different if you don't know read the post from above carefully)
  6. Now it will give the UPC listen it carefully and note it down anywhere.
*Note-The standard call charges are applied on calling these numbers.
